Susan Bell works at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. A favorite part of her job is sharing the stories of the many satellite and airborne science missions studying Earth. A commercial airplane, glider and competition aerobatic pilot, she may also be spotted flying inverted in her Extra 300, having won the U.S. National Sportsman Aerobatic Championship in 2018.
