BIOGRAPHY Diego Horten recently founded the Dr. Reimar Horten Foundation in Argentina and created a website honoring his father and uncle and the many examples of planes they created. Terry Coakley published an article in EAA Warbirds in September, 2017 when the only surviving example of the Horten 299 went on public display. Mario Marino has illustrated the Horten 229 in books by noted Horten author and historian David Myhra. Bernhard Mattlener is a founder of the new company, Horten Aircraft.
