EAA Pilot Proficiency Center

The EAA Pilot Proficiency Center (PPC) is a skill-building and gathering area for those with a desire to increase their knowledge, hone their abilities, and network with other passionate pilots. The PPC promotes, showcases, and encourages the use of training, tools and activities to help pilots maintain year-round proficiency, beyond the week at Oshkosh.

This center is a focal point for pilots of all skill levels, even beginners. It features 14 Redbird LD flight simulators with instructors featuring scenarios for IFR and VFR proficiency.

It also features a full schedule of Tech Talks (presenting sponsor: Jeppesen) with topics including, procedures, use of aviation tools, tips and tricks, weather planning, and use of charts.

Tech Talks and simulation scenarios at the PPC are eligible for FAA WINGS pilot proficiency program credit.

  • Location: Four Corners at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh
  • Open: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Saturday, July 26-31, 2021
