Hops & Props Success Relies on Volunteer Help

March - On Saturday, March 7, EAA AirVenture Museum hosted Hops & Props, one of its most popular annual events, which features beverages and food, master brewers, microbrews, live music and more. The proceeds from the event help underwrite the cost of museum activities throughout the year, including free aviation education programs for young people. 

There was an amazing and gratifying response from the community to help with the event. There were 54 volunteers who put in more than 300 hours. Volunteers helped with set up, admissions, the VIP dinner, assisting the brewers, and more. All the hard work by the volunteers made Hops & Props a wonderful event for the more than 1,300 people who attended.

A huge thank you goes out to the returning and new volunteers for Hops & Props this year. It is a fun event, so we hope to see you there next year!
