EAA can provide Letters of Thanks, Ground Volunteer Pins, and Certificates of Appreciation to Chapter Coordinators and Field Representatives to recognize outstanding efforts on the part of EAA Young Eagles® volunteers and supporters.
The following are only suggested guidelines and may be modified for your specific needs.
Letters of Thanks: Issued from EAA Headquarters, these letters can be sent to airports, FBOs, air traffic control facilities, program supporters, and volunteers. These should be used to recognize assistance at a specific event.
Ground Volunteer Pins & Certificates of Appreciation: Issued from EAA’s Young Eagles office, Ground Volunteer Pins and Certificates of Appreciation can be awarded on an annual basis to any volunteer who devotes their time to assist at Young Eagles events during the year. The pin is dated with the year, allowing annual awards to consistent volunteers.
Details and addresses should be forwarded to the EAA Young Eagles office at firstname.lastname@example.org with the type of recognition you are seeking. The more details you provide the better!
You know better than anyone who your volunteers are and how much they mean to the continuing success of EAA’s Young Eagles program. EAA wants to give you the means to recognize these individuals. Other letters of thanks can be issued for special achievements. Just ask!
