General Aviation Camping and Parking Areas
Starting Thursday, July 19th, this page will report the status of the General Aviation Camping Areas and the General Aviation Parking Areas at Wittman Regional Airport (KOSH).
Showplane Camping and Parking Areas
Showplane areas accommodate experimentals (homebuilts), warbirds, production aircraft manufactured prior to 1971, ultralights, and amphibians. These areas are expected to remain open for the duration of AirVenture 2018.
Airport construction since AirVenture 2017 has resulted in some changes to the turf areas used for aircraft camping and parking. Pilots arriving at AirVenture 2018 should follow the direction of ground marshaling volunteers who will direct them to the areas currently in use.
Information for arriving pilots
Be sure to have on board a copy of the AirVenture 2018 NOTAM, which includes diagrams of the new taxiway alignment on page 13. The 2018 NOTAM is available at www.eaa.org/notam.
Note that the Oshkosh Ground control frequency has been changed to 132.3.
Next planned update to this page: July 19, 2018..... Have a great flight!
