Hands, Mind, and Heart

What started as a handful of passionate enthusiasts has developed into a major force—and a significant component—of the aircraft industry.

Homebuilt Aircraft Council Application

Homebuilding is the foundation on which EAA was built and continues to be a core area of grass roots participation in EAA. If you have a passion for homebuilding and have a desire to share ideas that could help improve EAA and homebuilt programs, holding a seat on the EAA Homebuilt Aircraft Council (HAC) may be a good fit for you.

The Homebuilt Aircraft Council represents and promotes the interests of our aircraft building members by providing advice and counsel to EAA staff on homebuilt programs, support and direction. This includes seeking out avenues to promote recruitment, training, support, appreciation, direction, and recognition.

The members of the council are representative of our homebuilder base and are approved by the EAA Chairman and the VP of member programs. Council member terms are three years, and the council meets two times per year in Oshkosh in addition to monthly teleconferences.

If interested in serving, please fill out the application below.
