Volunteer Nominations Now Open
April 2017 - EAA members give so much to our organization, and EAA wants to give back to our volunteers by recognizing the work they do every day to lead The Spirit of Aviation through their dedicated volunteer service. EAA is excited to announce the 2017 Volunteers of the Year, Brown Arch, and Dorothy Hilbert awards nomination process starts now.
2017 Volunteers of the Year Award
This award was created to recognize an outstanding volunteer who has contributed an extraordinary level of dedication. Please consider nominating someone who has earned this title for the 2017 Volunteers of the Year! The selected volunteers will be awarded on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at the Volunteer Park at 3 p.m. with an engraved brick to be placed in the Volunteer Park for all to appreciate during AirVenture. This is a wonderful way to recognize someone whose dedication as a volunteer has inspired and motivated others. The deadline for this award submission is May 31, 2017.
The annual Brown Arch Brick Award was created at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010 to recognize those who generously volunteer their time and talents to AirVenture and who have made a tremendous impact on the organization. Please consider nominating someone who has put their heart and soul into AirVenture and deserves to be recognized! The selected volunteer will be awarded with an engraved large brick paver to be placed under the Brown Arch on Friday, July 28, 2017, at 9 a.m. The deadline for this award submission is May 1, 2017.
Do you know a female EAA volunteer who exhibits the same passion, dedication, and devotion for volunteerism as did the late Dorothy Hilbert? Please consider nominating her today! The selected volunteer will receive a plaque and recognition during AirVenture on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at the Volunteer Park at 3 p.m. The deadline for this award submission is May 31, 2017.
