EAA at SUN ‘n FUN 2018

Sun n FunMarch 20, 2018 - If you’re headed to the SUN ‘n FUN International Fly-In & Expo April 10-15 in Lakeland, Florida, be sure to visit EAA just south of the FAA building, at Exhibit LD7 and 13, and check out some of the other events and offers available to EAA members.

The 2018 EAA Sweepstakes airplane, a beautifully restored 1941 Piper J-3 Cub, will be among the aircraft displayed in Lakeland. The restoration team from C&D Aviation will be on hand to talk about their exquisite work. This year’s One Week Wonder will also be represented, as an already-assembled RV-12 will be at SUN ‘n FUN with EAA.

EAA will have forums from Tuesday through Saturday, hosted for the first time at the EAA main exhibit (see the forum list below). Additionally, SUN ‘n FUN attendees are encouraged to stop by and chat with EAA staff on location from Headquarters in Oshkosh.

Members with proof of membership can also refresh at the Member Oasis on the Warbirds ramp on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the end of the air show. Ice cream socials will be held at 3 p.m. on those days.

Aviore is scheduled to appear later in the week, and members can get an insurance quote from Falcon Aviation Insurance while attending SUN ‘n FUN. EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018 shirts will be available for purchase as part of the retail offerings in Lakeland.

EAA members can receive a special discount on SUN ‘n FUN admission by showing their membership card at the gate or using the code EAA543 online.
