EAA Spirit of Aviation Mobile Experience Makes Its Final 2017 Stops

October 12, 2017 - As the air show and events season starts to wrap up, so does the inaugural tour for the EAA Spirit of Aviation mobile experience. Guests in the Southwest still have a chance to see the interactive trailer as it makes its final stops. The trailer is currently on display at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta until October 15 and will then head to the Fort Worth Alliance Air Show on October 28-29.

The EAA’s Spirit of Aviation mobile experience presented by NATCA is a hands-on exhibit that allows guests to get a taste of aviation. Attendees can get to know EAA and experience a tour of the EAA Aviation Museum through a virtual reality theater and a guided tour by air show pilot Michael Goulian.

Further inside the exhibit are hands-on stations where EAA will host a variety of building projects. From helping to build a foam plane, sponsored by Flite Test, to making a cookie cutter using the basics of homebuilding aircraft aluminum, sponsored by Aircraft Spruce & Specialty, everyone can get involved. There are also two Redbird TD simulators where guests can get the feeling of being in the cockpit as well as an ATC simulator from NATCA to feel like they are in the tower.

EAA staff and volunteers are excited to help spread The Spirit of Aviation at these events.  If you are attending either event make sure to stop by check out the EAA exhibit.
