September 2023 – Greetings,
The days are getting shorter, the leaves are turning colour, and the calendar tells me it is September. It’s time for some of the year’s best flying to begin!

To all of the Canadian EAA members that made the 2023 AirVenture pilgrimage, I hope you had a great time. I believe it keeps getting better every year and it’s hard to adequately describe it to those who have never been. The EAA Canadian Council worked hard on several initiatives to provide new and improved services for Canadians, as well as for AirVenture attendees from the U.S. and abroad that plan to visit Canada. I have emailed a survey to all EAA Canadian members that pre-purchased AirVenture tickets. If you have not received the survey, please email me at chair.eaacc@gmail.com. We would appreciate your feedback and suggestions as we will start working on our 2024 plans next month.

We continue to collaborate alongside other Canadian organizations to advocate in the best interest of Canadians with a passion for aviation. Stay tuned for updates and don’t hesitate to apprise us of issues that are on the horizon. Keep the contrails of communication open!
