Stewards of Aviation's Past and Future
With a collection of more than 200 historic airplanes along with world-class galleries and displays, the EAA Aviation Museum is a year-round destination, combining the passion of aviation's past with the promise of its exciting future.
The personal archives and memorabilia of astronaut Joe Engle, the only person to participate in the X-15, Apollo, and space shuttle programs, are now on display at the EAA Aviation Museum.
Located in the Eagle Hangar, museum guests can explore the remarkable machine that is the UH-1B Huey and learn of the men who bravely rode them into battle.
