Celebrate the anniversary of the first powered flight with a presentation by keynote speaker Gene Kranz, cocktails, and full-dinner service.
Fate put Eugene Francis "Gene" Kranz in the seat of lead flight director on the Apollo 13 mission. After an explosion in the service module, his team took steps to lead the astronauts back home. For their contributions, Gene and his team, along with the astronauts, were awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Gene has since been a former flight engineer on a restored B-17, is a homebuilder, a lifetime member of EAA, and was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame.
See Gene’s presentation and meet him afterwards at the Wright Brothers Memorial Banquet on Friday, December 9.
Please note that cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. with presentation to follow. Reservations are required.
This year's banquet has sold out. We hope to see you next year!
