Around The Rim Flight

Fri, Jul 26, 2019 - Fri, Jul 26, 2019
11:30 AM - 12:45 PM

Location: Forum Stage 1

Presenter: Judy Birchler

In the spring of 2018 Judy & Boyd Birchler flew the perimeter of the U.S. in their RV7. They covered 10,400 miles, 99 years after the first aircraft, a twin engine, Glenn Martin Bomber (GMB) attempted the lofty, aerial goal in 1919. What was once an unbelievable feat is today achievable by most G.A. pilots. Come and explore their flight around the rim and be encouraged to set your course for your own perimeter flying adventure. 'Meet & Greet' to follow. T-shirts available.
