Klaus Savier has built his aviation career on speed and efficiency. He holds two closed course world speed records in his O-200 powered Vari Eze, one in his O-360 powered Long EZ and four US National speed records. He has won more than 35 race competitions including the AirVenture Cup race, CAFE and FuelVenture challenge and raced in Reno. In 1985, Klaus founded Light Speed Engineering- pioneering the development of electronic ignition and speed modifications for experimental aircraft.
