September Swing Is Back Again!

August 8, 2019 - The annual hangar dance September Swing is back again. Join us in the EAA Aviation Museum's Eagle Hangar on September 28 for a night of dancing, socializing, and live music. Surrounded by World War II era aircraft and vehicles, there is no backdrop more fitting for this 1940s throwback event. The event will also commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day in conjunction with the museum's newest exhibit, D-Day Plus 75 featured in the Telling Gallery.

Attendees of the event get an evening full of excitement starting with a group dance lesson from Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Appleton. Then, Ladies Must Swing, an all-female swing band from Madison, will play the night away. Guests are encouraged to dress the part wearing their best swing or 1940s attire. Stay refreshed with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar with featured drinks.

Advance tickets are $40 per person or $75 per couple (ticket prices increase at the door) and include the dance lesson, hors d'oeuvres, and access to the museum along with competitions for best dancers and best dressed. We celebrate active military and veterans by offering complimentary registrations. Visit EAA.org/SeptemberSwing to register today, and follow our Facebook event for updates!
