Bernardo Malfitano
Bernardo works at a large aircraft manufacturer, in the “product strategy and future airplane development” organization. He analyzes, tests, tweaks, and optimizes proposed design features on future airplanes, aiming to minimize drag, weight, cost, and risk. He enjoys teaching courses about airplane design and aviation history, writing aviation books and magazine articles, and flying aerobatics. His aviation photographs have won awards and been published by National Geographic.
