F/O Costas Sivyllis (United) is the Education Committee Chairman at the Air Line Pilots Assn., Intl. In this role, he oversees a multifaceted program of nearly 2,000 volunteers working to promote the piloting profession and mentor aspiring aviators. Sivyllis is a member of the Industry Advisory Board at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science and minor in Business. Based in Newark, Sivyllis flies the B-757/767 and is a CFI, CFII, MEI, IGI, and AGI. He resides in Florida where he is active in the general aviation community and makes frequent college visits around the country.
