David Meisels

David Meisels is a lifelong aviation enthusiast, who joined Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) in 1995.  Since 2006, David has been Manager of PT6A Customer Service, having the pleasure of supporting customers worldwide who own and operate the PT6A on a variety of installations, including Beech King Airs and 1900s, Cessna Caravans, DeHavilland-Viking Twin Otters and Turbo Otters, Piaggio Avanti’s, and Blackhawk conversions to name a few.  David and his team manage customer requests on PT6A, are behind-the-scenes of P&WC’s remarkable Customer First Center, and on a daily basis monitor and improve the reliability and durability of the PT6A engine. David is also a history buff, and is proud to present the amazing story of the history of the PT6 engine.  David worked for 11 years in P&WC’s engineering organization, and holds a patent in turbine cooling.  Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp.
