Dr. Rafat Ansari

Dr. Rafat Ansari is a senior scientist at NASA John H. Glenn Research center in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a pilot and a member of the EAA and AOPA. He has spearheaded a citizen science campaign engaging private volunteer pilots to collaborate with researchers to collect scientific data. The pilot participation is helping academic researchers in exploring an innovative and low-cost approach to study and monitor harmful algal blooms and related water quality issues.
