Jay Carter

Carter Aviation Technologies, LLC

In 1994, Jay Carter, Jr. founded Carter Aviation Technologies (Carter) and began the development of Slowed Rotor/Compound  (SR/CT) aircraft technology, combining the best characteristics of helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. Carter has now refined its' second SR/C prototype. Jay's formal training is in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering. Jay also worked briefly at Bell Helicopter, where he contributed to the design of the V-15 tilting prop rotor.
