Lori MacNichol

Lori MacNichol, owner of McCall Mountain/Canyon Flying Seminars, a flight school located in McCall, Idaho. This school provides an educational introduction to the special type of airmanship skills & knowledge needed to operate safely in mountainous backcountry terrain. Lori learned to fly in 1982 through her love of fishing. Lori received her private pilot certificate which led to commercial and flight instructor ratings at which point she carefully began keeping notes on the unique skills required for backcountry flying. While expanding her experiences working as an air taxi pilot & a spotter for the Forest Service, she gained invaluable insight to the special skills needed to operate safely with in the wilderness. She added multi-engine, seaplane ratings & qualified as an airline transport pilot.
