Phillip M (Phil) Martineau

Phil retired as Chairman, CEO & President of Pittsburgh Corning Corporation; his overall career focus has been international business, with responsibility for customers, plants and organizations worldwide.  He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a Masters degree in International Management.

His extensive ongoing board experience with both public and private corporations, as well as for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, has been valuable in serving as a long standing volunteer on the EAA Board of Directors.  He currently serves on the Executive and Audit committees and also Chairs the Innovation Committee.

Phil has been a pilot for nearly 40 years, and holds a commercial certificate for single engine land and single engine sea, and is instrument rated.  A priority post-retirement accomplishment was to build a Sportsman 2+2 in Glasair’s Two Weeks to Taxi Program.  He is primed to become a “serial builder” and spends evenings looking at various plans for his next project.

Phil and his wife Stephanie relocated back home to St. Paul, MN following his retirement in Pittsburgh.  His new Sportsman 2+2 is ideal for living in the “Land of 10,000 Lakes”!
