Sam James

Sam was born in Miami FL in 1939. Served in the Navy for 6 years with 3 of those years on the USS Forrestal. He worked his way up to one of the Directors at Bertram Yacht where one of his departments was Racing. He ended up Racing Offshore Powerboats for 28 years. After retiring in 1985 he built an RV4 with his wife Patty and started James Aircraft manufacturing "speed mods" for kit airplanes. He has over 50 years experience working with fiberglass.
