Zachary Reeder

Zach has been at Scaled Composites since 2005, and is now a Project Engineer and Test Pilot. He has played a significant role in the design, build and testing of several new aircraft including WhiteKnightTwo, Firebird Demonstrator, BiPOD, Stratolaunch and a Rogollo type hang glider in which he made his first solo flight. After completing an RV-8 in 2010, Zach led the restoration of Burt’s Catbird for the 2011 Airventure Tribute to Burt Rutan Day. Zach set a 5000 Km closed course speed record in the Catbird in 2014 and is a SETP member. He currently flies several aircraft types including the Rutan Catbird, Flabob DC-3, Firebird Demonstrator, Proteus and is training to serve as Flight Engineer on Stratolaunch. http://scaled.com/
