Chris Henry

EAA
Chris Henry is on staff with the EAA Aviation Museum in Oshkosh, WI. Chris has been working in aviation since he was 12 years old when he first started volunteering at the local air museum. Chris worked as a medical helicopter dispatcher as well as an air traffic controller before going to the EAA Aviation Museum. In the course of his work, he has been closely involved with the B-17 program for the B-17 “Aluminum Overcast”. He has worked to reconnect the veterans who once crewed the B-17 with their aircraft once again. This lecture is not one about airspeed and technical figures, but one about what life was like aboard the famous Flying Fortress in the war, and the bond that exists between the people and the machine.
