Ron McGee

Ron McGee earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1971 at the University of Kansas where he participated in the ROTC program. Continuing the legacy of his father Charles McGee, an original Tuskegee Airman, he entered the Air Force after graduation. Ron did his F-4 Phantom training with the 21st Squadron at George AFB and started his active duty in Ubon, Thailand. He flew with the 497th Night Owl squadron from August 1973 until his return after the Vietnam Conflict. He was stationed at Bergstrom AFB, TX until he separated in 1978.
