Seeking Passionate Volunteers for EAA's Learn to Fly Center

April 2021 – EAA is hosting a Learn to Fly Center at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021. The venue will be located at the bustling Four Corners area, and will be focused on providing information to attendees looking kick-start their flight training journey.

The ultimate mission of the Learn to Fly Center is to motivate, excite, and show attendees a clear pathway to those who are inspired to earn a pilot certificate. Who better to inform and excite attendees than EAA chapter members?

Whether you’re are Certified flight instructor (CFI), experienced pilot, fresh out of flight training, or in the middle of your training, your assistance is needed!

What do the volunteer duties look like?

• General Info Desk: Help answer basic questions and provide guidance.
• Kiosk Assistants: Help attendees find local AMEs, flight schools, and chapters.
• Simulator Assistants: Help attendees while they fly introductory Virtual Flight Academy scenarios.
• Aircraft Assistants: Sit outside of the tent to help answer questions about the display aircraft.
• Floaters: Roam the tent, greet attendees, and help direct attendees to areas of interest within the tent.
