The popularity of all-metal aircraft designs continues to grow thanks to the many advantages of aluminum alloy construction. An overview of the design and construction of simple light aircraft, such as the Zenith CH 750 or CH 650, which utilize semi-monocoque sheet-metal 6061-T6 aluminum alloy construction and the extensive use of blind (pulled) rivets. Modern computer-aided CAD design and CNC kit manufacturing makes all-metal aircraft kits easier and quicker to build than ever.
