The annual SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo is just around the corner, and aviators and EAA members are making plans for the journey down to the unofficial kickoff of the flying season. SUN ’n FUN takes place April 13-18 at Florida’s Lakeland Linder Airport (LAL) and will feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. We hope to see you there!

This 1956 Piper PA-22, formerly owned by Billy Henderson, founder of SUN ‘n FUN and former president of EAA Chapter 454, has been to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh nearly every year since 1984. For the last few years, it has been flown to Oshkosh by members of the Lakeland Aero Club.
