Do You Know a Lifetime EAA Contributor?

By Ian Brown

November 2017 - Every year at our Canadian breakfast we look for Canadian lifetime contributors to EAA and the aircraft building/restoration movement. Now is a good time to start looking for our honourees for next year’s EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.

Do You Know a Lifetime EAA Contributor

Presentations to families of “Hoppy” Hopkinson and Gus Chisholm at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Canadian breakfast in 2016.

Do you know an outstanding Canadian in your area who continues to support those around him or her and has legendary skills and the willingness to share them? We’re looking for men and women who exemplify a lifetime spent developing and supporting amateur aircraft building and serving others who do the same. Candidates must be current Canadian EAA members who have demonstrated their spirit of volunteerism over their lifetime.

Each honouree receives a plaque during a presentation ceremony held at our breakfast, supported by 200 or more Canadian attendees.

If you would like to suggest a candidate, please forward the details to EAA by clicking on the Contact Us tab at the top of this newsletter and sending the name of the candidate, why you would like to nominate him or her, and a summary of the candidate’s contributions.
