Why Not Write Something for Bits and Pieces?

Why Not Write Something for Bits and Pieces?

April 2024 – It’s Just a thought! How many of our readers open the newsletter each month, read it, then get on with their projects in their hangars or workshops? I wonder how many of those reading this will just put it away. Most of our readers lead interesting lives, to do with aviation, as you can tell by some of the items in this month’s issue. If you don’t feel “qualified” to write something, you probably at least can do email. We can deal with minimal effort if you just want to send a message, ideally with a picture or two. I’m convinced that our efforts to include photos with our articles makes the overall attractiveness of the newsletter so much better. Why not make a note to put together an article for next month? You can send it to me at newsletter.eaacc@gmail.com. It could be as simple as the body of the text in an email.

Anything you send in on or before the second week of the month will appear in the next month’s issue of Bits and Pieces.

We have some excellent articles this month, and I would like to thank John Wyman, Michael Martin, Mike Davenport, and Raquel Lincoln for their contributions. It was delightful to meet John and his daughter, Emily, face-to-face this week. You may remember his article about a road trip to pick up a “rebuild project,” which we discussed over a nice lunch together. All of our contributors work hard, not only on your newsletter, so the time they take to produce their contributions is really appreciated.

If you’re wondering what to write about, just think of the article you first read when you open the newsletter and what attracted you to it. That might give you a clue!
