AirVenture 2026 has come to a close. While incoming aircraft were held up at the beginning of the week due to smoky conditions, once it cleared, it was near perfect weather for the rest of the event. It was, once again, an adventure like none other — from the forums, to the vendors, to the camping and the air show — the days flew by.
I’d like to thank all the Canadians that gave their time to set up our Canadian Pavilion, operate it through the week, make presentations, and welcome all visitors with Canadian hospitality. Our welcome BBQ for all Canadians on Sunday was a successful, fun evening. We welcomed almost 400 visitors to our Ice Cream Social and capped off the week hosting the RAF Red Arrows Aerobatic Team at our Canadian Breakfast.
