Check Out MD-RA’s Website

July 7, 2022 – If you haven’t done this lately and you’re either building or considering building an aircraft or owning one that someone else built, there is a host of useful information on the MD-RA (Minister’s Designate — Recreational Aviation) web site at https://www.md-ra.com/.

There is an online photo album of pages and pages of Canadian home built aircraft. There are documents and advice on how to get the building process started, of course, but there is so much more. For instance, do you know what is supposed to be in your first aid kit? Did you know that amateur built aircraft are not required to have a separate technical log to the journey log?

As mentioned elsewhere in this newsletter, we will enjoy a presentation given by Jaime Alexandre, EAA 137445, at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022 this year. He’s a long standing inspector with MD-RA and we look forward to his talk.
