Home for the Summer

August 2023 – By now you’re probably home for the summer if you were lucky enough to come and join us in Oshkosh. You probably expect lots of news and pictures about what went on. Unfortunately that will have to wait for our bumper edition next month. As I write this, we’re still two weeks away from AirVenture and our annual pilgrimage. The editorial staff in Oshkosh are understandably REALLY BUSY this month so I’ve been asked to submit the August content early. We do have some fascinating reads for you this month including an exciting opening of a brand new beautiful aviation museum in Kelowna, British Columbia.
I’ve included Raquel in this since anything she did have to say I’ve included in the editorial. Like everyone else, she’s had a very busy month.
Thanks to all our authors this month. You gave us something special to read when there could have been nothing. This newsletter is written on a volunteer basis so please congratulate any of the authors you come into contact with, and if you get the chance, take a trip to the Okanagan Aviation Museum.
