Nashville EAA/IMC Club Continues to Break Attendance Records
March 2017 - The Nashville, Tennessee, Chapter 162 EAA/IMC Club continues to break attendance records month after month. Seventy-four pilots attended its February 28 meeting, including 17 first-time attendees.
“It was a little crowded, but everyone seems to enjoy our meeting,” said Joe Creecy, EAA/IMC Club program coordinator at Chapter 162. “Everyone from instrument student pilots to active Southwest and American captains is attending our club discussions. And it’s a great opportunity for us all to learn from each other! I am very pleased with the continued support from the Nashville-area pilots, and encouraged by the active participation in our Nashville EAA/IMC Club.”
After its most recent record-breaking meeting, Nashville EAA/IMC Club decided to move to a larger space for future gatherings. They will be meeting at the Gassaway Building at KBNA. This is a much larger meeting space, with a 100-plus capacity, larger screen, and a PA system. The new facility will allow the Nashville group to continue to grow and accommodate pilots from the area, and even from across the state.he state!
As part of its growing success, the chapter also has an active and fast-growing Facebook page and a pilot group with many interesting posts and local club news items, including meeting announcements.
