June 16, 2016 - Over the last weekend of May, my friend Aleks Kelemen and I, flew to Pardubice in the Czech Republic, about 95 kilometers east of Prague. As my Ryan PT-22, N59GD, was not ready we took his Stearman, OE-AJM. We had an amazing weekend and enjoyed the great hospitality of the team at Pardubice. One of the highlight was the Rolls-Royce/Snecma-powered Messerschmitt 262 on the ground and in the air. I even had the chance to take a seat in it. The Czech guys organized a perfect show of WWI and WWII on the ground and in the air.
