EAA Eagle Flights Pilot Wins Sennheiser Headset

October 27, 2015 - Jim McGauhey, EAA 561778, is the winner of a Sennheiser digital headset provided through EAA’s Eagle Flights program by Sennheiser. Eagle pilots are automatically entered into this quarterly drawing when they turn in their Eagle Flights registration forms.

McGauhey, who also flies Young Eagles, said he gave flights to two Eagles in the past three months, and that this win comes at a convenient time because one of the headsets he uses for these flights broke.

“I’ll be flying in style when we complete the Zenith CH 650 that some members of our EAA Chapter 84 are building with me, but for now it will work great in my old Cessna 172,” McGauhey said.

Brian O’Lena, manager of EAA’s Young Eagles and Eagle Flights programs, said EAA is very appreciative of the support it has received from Sennheiser for the Eagle Flights program.

“The support provided by Sennheiser has been vital to the growth and development of the EAA Eagle Flights program,” O’Lena said. “Sennheiser understands EAA’s mission to get more adults involved in flying and their financial and product support allow us to accomplish the mission.”
