Barry Davis

Barry is a founding member of EAA Chapter 976 in Carrollton, Georgia.  He served as chapter president for 12 years, as well as vice president, Young Eagles director, newsletter editor, treasurer, air show chairman, event coordinator, and co-founder of the EAA 976 Aviation Learning Center. 

He served for 16 years on the Carroll County Development Authority and is currently a director of the West Georgia Regional Airport Authority.  Barry received EAA’s Major Achievement Award in 2007.

He is one of the Big Piet Builders, a group of six EAAers who manufactured six Pietenpol Air Camper aircraft using short-run manufacturing and assembly methods.  While the airplanes are identical, each member used his own paint scheme and color to personalize his Big Piet.

Barry is president of North American Graphics, a leading designer and manufacturer of point-of-purchase graphics for the new and used automotive industry in the U.S. and Canada.  He uses his three Cessna’s and a J-3 Cub for aerial photography and pleasure.
