Dan Mincheff
Vice President, IT and Education
Dan Mincheff serves as EAA’s vice president of IT and education, leading technology strategy and educational innovation in support of EAA’s mission to grow participation in aviation. His career spans more than 30 years of executive leadership across technology, higher education, and aviation-adjacent organizations, including leadership roles at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Ellucian, Ferrilli, and Air Wisconsin. This blend of enterprise technology leadership and real-world aviation experience enables Mincheff to bridge operational excellence with forward-looking digital and educational strategies.
Mincheff’s connection to aviation has been a constant thread throughout his career. In addition to his professional leadership roles, his experience at Air Wisconsin provided direct exposure to airline operations and the critical role technology plays in safety, reliability, and scale. In his current role at EAA, Mincheff is focused on expanding educational access; strengthening digital experiences for members, staff, and visitors; and fostering a culture of innovation grounded in people, process, and technology. He holds a master’s in leadership and organizational development, a bachelor’s in computer science, and has completed the CIO Pocket MBA program at Boston University.
