Joe is President of Hartzell Propeller and COO of Tailwind Technologies Inc., a holding company that owns Hartzell Propeller and three additional aviation businesses, including Hartzell Engine Technologies. He has worked in aviation manufacturing for 24 years.
A lifetime member of EAA and AOPA, Joe is also involved in General Aviation Manufacturers Association and supports the Recreational Aviation Foundation. Joe is an instrument rated pilot with 3,000 hours. He flies a TBM and Glasair Sportsman.
Joe is a graduate of Middlebury College.
