Experience the B-25 Berlin Express at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021

The North American B-25 Mitchell is a medium bomber from the Second World War. This powerful twin engined and twin tailed aircraft was used by every branch of the United States military. It is the only US military aircraft to ever be named after an individual, air power advocate General Billy Mitchell.

This B-25 Mitchell aircraft has been on display in the Eagle Hangar of the EAA museum for decades. Now, fully restored in her silver screen markings, Berlin Express is ready for her next mission. One to honor our World War II veterans as well as inspire a new generation of aviation enthusiasts.

Flights begin at 9 a.m. and run every 45 minutes. All passengers must check in at the B-25 trailer one hour prior to the flight time in order to catch the bus transportation to Appleton. The B-25 trailer is located on the southeast corner of the warbirds ramp adjacent to taxiway P1 (next to the Ford Shack). For any questions on your assigned flight time, please contact Membership Services at 1-800-359-6217.

Note: Passengers with limited mobility may be challenged or unable to move through certain areas of the aircraft. Additionally, for safety purposes, our flight crews are required to ensure that all passengers are able to board and de-board the aircraft under their own power, without assistance; unfortunately, passengers that are not able to do so will not be permitted to fly aboard Berlin Express. Please read more about the interior dimensions of the aircraft ›
