MEDIA REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED
Media credential registration for EAA AirVenture 2026 is now closed. No new applications are being accepted, and no credential requests are accepted at the gate or during the event.
Approved media outlets have been notified. The primary contact for each approved media outlet has received a list of individuals approved for credentials.
Any questions or late substitutions ONLY (no additions) for media outlets already approved may be directed to Dick Knapinski.
Media registration for EAA AirVenture 2027 (July 26–August 1, 2027) will begin in March 2027.
MEDIA CREDENTIAL PICK-UP FOR APPROVED MEDIA OUTLETS
If you are part of the pre-approved media contingent for AirVenture 2026, the check-in facility is the Quonset Hut at the corner of Poberezny Road and Waukau Avenue, the same location as in 2025.
If you are arriving at Wittman Regional Airport in a private aircraft, you may pick up your credentials at Press Headquarters during its regular hours. All others must go to the Check-In Hut.

- Friday, July 17: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Saturday, July 18: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sunday, July 19: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Monday, July 20: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 21 – Friday, July 24: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Saturday, July 25: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Sunday, July 26: 9 a.m. – 12 noon
Press Headquarters Building Hours
- Saturday, July 18: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Sunday, July 19: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Monday, July 20 – Saturday, July 25: 6:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Sunday, July 26: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Check-In Directions
We strongly recommend exiting Highway 41 at the Highway 26 exit instead of Highway 44, then traveling north on Poberezny Road to the Check-In Hut.
If you exit at Highway 44 and drive past the EAA Museum, stay in the far-right lane as you pass the museum, continue south on Poberezny Road to the campground entrance, then turn around and return to the check-in area.
