Roads and Runways brings classic and custom cars to EAA Aviation Museum on September 19
Cars from all eras welcome to display at Pioneer Airport
EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — (September 10, 2026) — Unique cars from across the Fox Valley will be on display at historic Pioneer Airport as Roads and Runways makes its debut at the EAA Aviation Museum on Saturday, September 19. The event aims to capture a glimpse of automotive history by featuring a variety of antique, vintage, and custom cars from all eras. Show cars may start arriving at 8 a.m. The museum lobby will open for the public at 9 a.m. Awards will be given out at 1 p.m. by EAA staff members who will conduct the judging. “Over the years, we have noticed that interest in aviation and automobiles often go hand-in-hand for our visitors,” said Chris Henry, EAA Aviation Museum Director. “Roads and Runways offers an opportunity to experience unique cars and aircraft while learning about the history that ties them together.” Cars will be displayed near the hangars of Pioneer Airport, located across the grass runway behind the EAA Aviation Museum. Motorists wishing to display their cars can do so for free by taking the show car route on Waukau Avenue. The first 150 cars will receive a dashboard plaque. Roads and Runways is included with general museum admission. EAA members and those showcasing their cars are admitted free.
