Chapter 240 50th Anniversary

July 2015 - EAA Chapter 240, based in Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania (New Garden Flying Field - N57), recently celebrated its 50th continuous year of service to their aviation community. Sean Elliott, EAA’s director of advocacy and safety, traveled to join in the celebration and to personally present a plaque to Chapter 240 President Mike Parry to thank them for three generations of service. Even though they could not be there in person, the EAA staff at headquarters assembled for a group picture at Pioneer Airport to say thanks for a job well done.
