Get Your Chapter Involved in Learn to Fly Day: Host an Event on May 15!

April 2021 – Mark your calendars! EAA’s Learn to Fly Day is Saturday, May 15, and this year we are encouraging all chapters to get involved by hosting a Flying Start event. The Flying Start program provides chapters with a perfect opportunity to reach out into the local community and bring those interested in aviation to the airport to show them firsthand how accessible and enjoyable general aviation can be.

Chapters that host a Flying Start event on EAA Learn to Fly Day (or any day in May 2021), use the online registration tool, and have no fewer than five participants will receive two free weekly passes for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021, to be used as a fundraiser or to give to a deserving chapter volunteer.
