Chapter Renewal

We are currently in the midst of chapter renewal for 2022. If you haven’t already submitted renewal for your chapter, I’d encourage you to complete it as soon as you can so it’s out of the way with the busy holiday season upon us. As long as you have your current list of officer names and EAA numbers on hand, it should take less than 15 minutes. If you are one of the four main chapter officers (president, vice president, secretary, or treasurer), you can access the tool through the emails that have been sent to you.

Chapter Service Awards

Each November, chapter service award pins and certificates are automatically mailed out to all chapters for distribution to each of the officers as a thank you. Our goal has always been to have them mailed by Thanksgiving, however this year we have been affected by the supply chain issues with the consequence that the pins have only recently arrived here and are just now being prepared to be shipped to chapters. We are doing our best to get them out as soon as we can and appreciate your patience and understanding. Many chapters enjoy presenting these awards as part of their year-end banquets. Although that likely won’t happen for some of you this year, you are still encouraged to find a time to make these special presentations and thank your officers and board members for their diligent work throughout the past year. We always include an MVP award for you to give to a volunteer in your chapter who has gone above and beyond as well as blank certificate stock so you can create your own awards as desired.

Chapter Survey

This year’s chapter survey is now open! Please complete the chapter survey here and be sure to forward it on to your members and encourage them to complete it as well. In addition, a stand-alone email will be forwarded to all chapter leaders which can be shared with your members. Consider including the survey link in your next newsletter. The survey not only provides valuable information to help you to improve your chapter, but it can also assist the chapter in gaining credit toward the Chapter Recognition program when at least 20 percent of your chapter members engage in this short survey.

Chapter Elections

For many chapters, November is elections month. Elections are important in determining the direction and health of the chapter. Your chapter should ensure you have the right people on board by having a nominating committee in place to recommend the best candidates. The leadership the chapter has in place will determine its success. Choose wisely and keep your chapter moving in the right direction.
