Authors Corner Applications for AirVenture 2026 Now Open

By EAA Staff

Aviation writers with an interest in appearing at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 are invited to apply for the weeklong Authors Corner schedule during the event, held July 20-26 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Authors Corner is an opportunity for aviation writers to promote their books through meet-and-greets with readers during the annual EAA fly-in convention. Past schedules have included the full spectrum of aviation interests, and both non-fiction and youth/children’s books written by renowned aviation writers and notable personalities from the world of flight.

Authors are invited to submit an online application to EAA’s Retail Operations team by March 10, with a copy of the book to be received by March 16, to be considered. Late applications and books will not be considered. Among the requirements for consideration:

  • The author must be an EAA member
  • The author must be available to attend AirVenture for at least two days between Monday, July 20, and Saturday, July 25
  • EAA must be able to purchase the author’s book from the author or publisher in advance of AirVenture

A copy of the book should be sent to:

EAA Retail Operations
c/o Authors Corner
3130 Knapp Street Rd.

Schedule availability in Authors Corner is limited. If a book is selected, the EAA retail team will confirm approval by April 1 and supply additional information.
