Updates to Young Eagles RC Build & Fly Program

To streamline and accelerate the fulfillment process, EAA is modifying the Old School Model Works Fifty Six kit that is offered to chapters at a significant discount.

Moving forward, chapters will be able to purchase the balsa‑wood kit directly through EAA. All accessories such as motors, controls, glue, heat guns, etc. will now be sourced independently by each chapter. After purchasing the balsa-wood kit, EAA will provide a list of recommended vendors that carry the required accessories.

EAA will continue offering the Flite Test Simple Scout XL MKR2k kit with no changes to that program.

Young Eagles credits may still be used to cover the cost of the kit and any accessories purchased outside of EAA. Visit EAA.org/YEBuildandFly to learn more and purchase a kit for your chapter’s youth program!
