The Final Hours: Urge Your Senators to Support GA

June 4, 2013 - Aviators are responding in a big way to EAA's call to contact their U.S. senators and urge them to sign a bipartisan letter to the FAA administrator that demands a stop to charging aviation events, including EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, for air traffic services.

More than 16,000 letters and e-mails have been sent to the U.S. Senate in less than 24 hours, asking individual senators to sign the letter and join their colleagues who have already done so. Thank you for standing up for GA and its activities.

The extended deadline for Senate signatures is noon EDT on Wednesday, June 5. So don't stop now! If you haven't signed yet, or know aviators or aviation enthusiasts who haven't yet gotten involved, do it now. Go to EAA's Rally Congress site and click the "Sign the Petition" button to send a letter to both of your state's senators.
